Terms of Service

1. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

You may register using an email address and password or through Google sign-in. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

2. Description of the Service

FISCALIS helps you record cash flow and automatically estimate tax obligations (including income tax based on the NPPN deemed-profit method) and professional zakat. The Service supports multiple projects with role-based access control and maintains an audit trail of changes to your financial records.

All calculations, estimates, and reports produced by the Service are provided for informational and organizational purposes only. They do not constitute tax, legal, financial, or religious advice. You are solely responsible for verifying figures and for meeting your own tax and zakat obligations, and you should consult a qualified professional where appropriate.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or unauthorized purpose;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems, or to circumvent security or authentication measures;
• interfere with, disrupt, or impose an unreasonable load on the Service or its infrastructure;
• upload content that is malicious, infringing, or that you do not have the right to share; or
• reverse engineer or resell the Service without our written permission.

4. Your Data and Content

You retain ownership of the financial records and other content you submit to the Service (“Your Data”). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display Your Data solely to operate and improve the Service for you. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Within projects you share, other members may view or edit data according to the role assigned to them. You are responsible for who you invite and the roles you grant.

5. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party providers, including Supabase (database, authentication, and storage), Google (optional sign-in), Cloudflare Turnstile (bot protection), and Resend (transactional email). Your use of features that depend on these providers may also be subject to their respective terms. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of third-party providers.

6. Availability and Changes

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time. We may also update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above, and your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that any calculation, estimate, or report is accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific tax or zakat circumstances.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FISCALIS by BIN shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases, though certain provisions (such as disclaimers and limitations of liability) survive.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Indonesia, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
